Thesis Option Non-thesis option A thesis option is offered for students who want the opportunity to obtain expertise in research and who may be interested in pursuing the doctoral degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering. Students enrolled in the M. PhD students have the option to continue their training as a post-doc for a year or two after completion of the program before seeking a faculty position in an academic institution. Graduates choosing biomedical material concentration will also be a job-ready workforce for the continued growth of biotechnology. The main emphasis of the new doctoral degree will be on natural resources, especially water resources, land and air resources.
